On healing
Healing is often attributed to ‘a healer’. From my observation, this is not the way things work. Healing CAN happen when a part of the body opens up. Call it a chakra. Or just ‘a part’. And it happens when I am out of the way. The more I want ‘to do’, the smaller chances are that healing will happen. Healing is like a rainbow. It appears as if by magic.
A rainbow can not be grasped. It can not be captured. A rainbow can be re-created though, as every kid with a hose in a summer garden knows. I guess that’s one of the things we do when entering a massage. We enjoy it. We find pleasure. And when we bring out some water (emotion) and some sun (light), rainbows start to happen.
It gives me great satisfaction when I am part of a process where a client experiences healing. And it inspires the same feeling of awe and excitement as a rainbow does. Healing rocks.
